Senior Static Equipment Design Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and detailed engineering of static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, separators, storage tanks, etc.) in accordance with international codes and standards.
  • Review client specifications, data sheets, and technical documents to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Develop and validate mechanical design calculations using tools such as PV Elite, Compress, or equivalent.
  • Guide the preparation and review of fabrication drawings, MTOs, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and vendor documents.
  • Manage a team of engineers, ensuring timely delivery of engineering outputs.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (process, piping, civil, procurement, QA/QC) to ensure design integration.
  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews (3D model reviews, HAZOP, etc.), and vendor meetings.
  • Review and approve engineering documents, ensuring quality and compliance with applicable codes.
  • Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and construction phases.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • 10-18 years of relevant experience in static equipment design for EPC / Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects
