Job Title: Jira Administrator Lead

We are seeking an experienced Jira administrator to lead the administration, configuration and customization of our Atlassian Jira environment.

This senior role will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Jira projects, workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions and notifications.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Jira solutions.

The Jira administrator will establish governance standards and best practices for Jira usage across the organization.

The successful candidate will also manage user access roles and security settings in line with organizational policies.

In addition they will monitor Jira system performance conduct regular health checks and manage upgrades or migrations.

The administrator will integrate Jira with other enterprise tools and platforms such as Slack GitHub Jenkins and ServiceNow.

Develop dashboards reports and metrics to support leadership operational teams.

Mentor and guide junior Jira administrators or support staff.

Work closely with IT DevOps and business teams to ensure seamless Jira adoption and usage.

Requirements:

  • 7 to 9 years of experience in Jira administration with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira Software Cloud and/or Data Center administration.
  • Proven experience designing complex workflows schemes and automation rules.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira integrations APIs and add-ons/marketplace apps.
