Job Description

Mahila Housing Trust is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to manage projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination, management, or a related field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with local NGO partners to ensure quality outcomes and fostering collaboration. They will also develop and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders to advance the organization's mission.

In this role, you will conduct city-level consultation workshops to engage with community members and gather insights. You will also manage project budgets and financial tracking to ensure transparency and accountability.

Furthermore, you will lead monitoring and report writing for the team, providing critical analysis and recommendations. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement the organization's programme in select slums.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in project coordination, management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge in climate resilience, environmental management, or related fields.
  • Excellent government liaison and networking skills, with a proven track record of building successful partnerships.
  • Proficiency in Excel, budgeting, and report writing, with the ability to analyze complex data and create actionable insights.
  • A graduate or master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Background in gender and women's leadership is desirable but not essential.
