Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Shipping Manager to lead our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in negotiating rates with shipping lines and overseas partners, as well as coordinating with sales teams for business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate rates with shipping lines and overseas partners to ensure optimal costs and services.
- Coordinate with sales teams to develop and implement business strategies.
- Manage the coordination of shipments and deliveries to meet customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including shipping lines, airlines, and logistics providers.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in logistics management, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality, with the ability to handle sensitive information.
