Job Title: Transportation Manager

Description:

The Road Transportation Manager will oversee all road transportation activities across PAN India. They will serve as the primary point of contact for all road transportation inquiries and manage end-to-end transportation operations for the west region, including EXIM logistics, inland, and cold chain transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of contact for all road transportation enquiries across PAN India.
  • Manage end-to-end road transportation for the west region, including EXIM logistics, inland, and cold chain transportation.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully handling various shipments, such as LTL, FTL, ODC cargo, and temperature-controlled cargo.
  • Deploy transportation management systems (TMS) within India and ensure effective usage by guiding users.
  • Manage vendor relationships and develop new vendor partnerships as per project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the IT development team to design process flows for road transportation TMS by providing valuable inputs.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and possess strong analytical skills. You should also have experience in managing transportation operations, vendor relationships, and transportation management systems.
