About this Role

This Logistics Operations Manager role is ideal for a skilled professional who can manage the end-to-end logistics operations to ensure seamless delivery of products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Journey and Fulfilment Tracking
    • Track the entire order journey from creation to delivery, ensuring on-time and accurate pick-ups from the warehouse and deliveries to customers.
    • Record, track, and regularly review warehouse and delivery partners' performance against agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs) and suggest areas for improvement.
    • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate pick-ups from the warehouse and deliveries to customers.
    • Provide regular updates to customers on order status.
  • Discrepancy and Returns Management
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in orders, such as quantity or quality issues.
    • Handle return requests promptly and in accordance with company policies.
    • Implement preventive actions to minimize future discrepancies and returns.
  • Maintaining Performance Reports & Dashboards
    • Fill Rate performance On-shelf & Warehouse availability.
    • Order to delivery Turn-around Time (TAT)
    • Cost performance
    • Discrepancy report
    • Inward performance & accuracy
    Warehouse Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Deployment
    • Ensure that standard operating procedures are diligently followed across the warehouse, regardless of new employees working on the process.
    • Guide warehouse and delivery partner staff in case of any queries, concerns, or special circumstances.
    • Conduct periodic and regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and evaluate process adherence.
    • Continually review and improve SOPs based on regular process feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Basic understanding of warehousing and logistics operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of MS Excel.
