Senior Data Engineer Position

This role is for a senior-level data engineer who will collaborate with data scientists and architects to develop scalable data solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in data engineering or design, with expertise in designing, developing, and deploying complex data analytics systems.

  • Data Pipeline Development:
    • Design and build robust, scalable, and high-quality data pipelines that support business intelligence and machine learning workflows.
    • Integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources into data warehouses.
  • Cloud Platform Engineering:
    • Develop and operationalize cloud-native data solutions on Azure, integrating services like Snowflake and third-party technologies.
  • Data Modeling & Architecture:
    • Apply dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehousing techniques to support business intelligence and machine learning workflows.
  • Collaboration & Agile Delivery:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

The successful candidate will have strong experience with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, CI/CD tools, security best practices, and Agile operating experience.

  • Programming: Python, SQL, Spark
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure
  • Data Tools: DBT, Erwin Data Modeler, Apache Airflow
  • Governance: Data masking, metadata management
  • Soft Skills: Communication, problem-solving

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of data engineering or design experience
  • 5+ years of experience in ML Lifecycle using Azure Kubernetes service and Azure Container Instance service
  • Experience in designing, developing & scaling complex data & feature pipelines feeding ML models
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
