Job Title: Senior Team Lead

Location: Mumbai (Hybrid Role)

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our Data Engineering team. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance domain, data analytics, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex data pipelines using SQL/Oracle and cloud platforms like Databricks on Azure/AWS
  • Create data visualizations using Power BI/Tableau/Qlik and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Institutionalize business and domain knowledge through knowledge management principles and techniques
  • Lead a team of analysts and coach/mentor them on domain knowledge and business understanding

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Engineering discipline
  • 10-12 years of experience in BI and reporting with team management experience handling a minimum team size of 2-3 analysts
  • Problem-solving skills within a corporate IT environment
  • Ability to think independently and define KPIs aligning with business strategy and goals

Technical Skills:

  • Data Engineering and transformation skills
  • Data visualization and communication skills
  • Cloud platform expertise (Databricks on Azure/AWS)

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights simply and actionably
