Senior Data Transformation Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our organization's data transformation initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams through complex data migrations, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive data migration strategies, aligning with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Lead and collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and subject matter experts, to ensure successful data migration outcomes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster open communication and resolve any issues that may arise during the migration process.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement efficient data migration processes, leveraging industry-standard tools and best practices.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot data migration challenges, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Conduct regular project status updates, monitoring progress against established milestones and timelines.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles, preferably in an ERP implementation context.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading at least one full-cycle data migration project, demonstrating expertise in data modeling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.
  • Strong understanding of ERP platforms, such as SAP, Oracle, and BAAN, as well as data migration tools and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Superb communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Project Management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies a plus.
