Data Governance and Stewardship Lead

Job Summary:

The Data Governance and Stewardship Lead will serve as the central point of contact for data governance and stewardship across the organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, managing data access, and providing first-level user support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Access Management: Support teams with user account and access management for JARVIS system using both JARVIS and IT Remedy systems.
- Business Analysis: Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical deliverables to enhance the JARVIS system and support ongoing projects.
- Data Source Assessment: Evaluate and analyze data from various systems based on business requirements, ensuring the right data is leveraged for reporting and analysis.
- Data Audits & Reconciliation: Perform random audits of data from various sources within APAC, ensuring data accuracy through reconciliation between final reports and source systems.
- Data Quality Maintenance: Monitor data quality through feedback and metrics, addressing issues and implementing corrections as needed.
- Data Usage & Insights: Share best practices for data usage across teams and provide actionable insights to improve decision-making.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure data compliance and security, safeguarding sensitive information and providing regulatory guidance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 2-4 Years experience in SQL, AWS, Salesforce, Tableau, or equivalent data and analytics tools
- Strong hands-on experience in data management and analytics report creation
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, detect anomalies, and solve complex data-related issues
- Experience supporting data-related projects, including timelines, stakeholder coordination, and deliverable tracking
- Proactive in identifying and implementing improvements related to workstream
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders, especially in translating data insights into actionable recommendations
- Comfortable working in international, multilingual environments
- Willing to align with APAC time zones
