Leadership Role in Physiotherapy Education

This is a key leadership position in the physiotherapy department, requiring a strong academic and administrative background.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Academic Leadership: Develop and implement academic programs that meet university, UGC, and statutory council norms.
    • Administrative & Managerial: Oversee the day-to-day administration of the physiotherapy department, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to accreditation standards and maintain proper records of academic, clinical, and administrative activities.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Build collaboration with healthcare institutions, universities, and professional bodies, and engage with parents, students, and alumni to strengthen institutional reputation.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physiotherapy (specialization in Orthopedics, Neurology, or Cardio-respiratory desirable).
    • Minimum 15 years of teaching/clinical experience, including at least 5 years in a Professor/Head role.
Key Competencies:
  • Strong Leadership: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to balance academics, clinical, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Research Orientation: Knowledge of research methods, publications in reputable journals, and ability to guide faculty in research and development.
