Job Opportunity: Corporate HR Head

Job Description:

This is a leadership role within our Human Resources department.

The incumbent would be responsible for leading the transformation and embedding of our organisational culture.

As the head of Human Resources, the successful candidate will champion our company's values through strong leadership and inspirational behaviour.

Key responsibilities include providing reports on all areas of HR, payroll, and learning and development.

The HR head will advise and strategize on the development of effective employment policies across the organisation.

They will also provide professional leadership, support, and development to HR staff.

The incumbent must ensure that the organisation complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies, and procedures, and legislation.

The HR head will manage the execution of the HR strategy and core areas of the HR department.

Key areas include recruitment, employee relations, workforce administration, employee engagement, payroll, reward, and recognition.

The incumbent will drive the continuous improvement agenda with a focus on engagement and welfare activities.

They will also take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organisational culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education requirement: Master degree in HR or related field.

Work experience: 12+ years of experience in an HR role.

The ability to create people strategy.

Commercial acumen and experience of using metrics for driving performance.

A pro-active attitude and passion for leading with integrity.

Superior interpersonal skills and positive approachable manner.

A proactive and agile work ethic.

A curious mindset, to think innovatively and rationally about concerns and come up with creative solutions.

Experience of managing a skilled team and making quick but rational decisions.

In-depth knowledge of Employment Law.

Thorough and methodical attention to detail.

Good time management skills and ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and use initiative.

First-rate communication and presentation skills.

Commitment to be an inspiring role model who encourages collaboration.
