Job Role: Export Associate

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Export Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating our global presence in the educational publishing industry.

The role involves coordinating with international book fairs, exhibitors, and distributors to promote our products. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate export lists, negotiating better discounts with booksellers, and preparing annual sales reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • International Tender Management: Checking and responding to international tenders related to content development.
  • Distributor Network: Maintaining a list of international book fairs and exhibitors, uploading information about existing international distributors and partners.
  • Catalog Creation: Collaborating with the design team to create international catalogs.
  • Publisher Liaison: Communicating with publishers to explore new business opportunities.
  • Marketing Strategies: Utilizing online advertising and digital marketing to reach global customers.
  • Shipping Logistics: Obtaining and comparing shipping quotes for air and sea exports; finalizing the best rates.
  • Data Management: Updating exporter records and maintaining accurate export lists.
  • Sales Reporting: Preparing and maintaining annual sales reports.
  • Team Coordination: Coodinating daily with the company Managing Director.
Requirements:
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Coordination Abilities: Strong coordination and follow-up abilities.
  • Export Knowledge: Familiarity with the export process and shipping logistics.
  • Digital Marketing Tools: Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
