Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Join us in our mission to protect the environment and promote public health by working as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

This is a key position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks, and develop strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.

As an EHS specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization's commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Communicate EHS information to employees, management, and external stakeholders through various channels.
  • Monitor and report EHS metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements:

Essential Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of environmental health and safety principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with EHS management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to EHS.
  • Certification in a relevant field, such as OSHA or ISO 14001.

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
