Our organization is committed to revolutionizing the resources industry by creating sustainable and innovative solutions. To achieve this goal, we are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) strategy.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive HSE strategy aligned with our overall business objectives. This includes ensuring compliance with all applicable Acts, regulations, standards, and permits, as well as conducting regular risk assessments and investigations to identify potential hazards and implement control measures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Factory Act, Environmental guidelines, HSE regulations, standards, and best practices. Additionally, they will have experience in green field/brown field expansion projects, environmental compliance, and permitting.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement in HSE performance through initiatives such as audits, inspections, and benchmarking. You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on key HSE performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the metal & mining industry.
  3. Approved Safety Officer as per Odisha Factory Act.
  4. Strong knowledge of Factory Act, Environmental guidelines, HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  5. Experience in green field/brown field expansion projects.
  6. Experience in environmental compliance and permitting.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
