Job Opportunity

Our company is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our support team.

As a key member of the client-facing subdivision, you will provide second-level support for critical applications and work closely with stakeholders and team members across the globe in a 24/7 working model.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as a support analyst for production teams, providing second-level support for applications under your care, collaborating with key stakeholders and team members across the globe in a 365-day, 24/7 working environment.
  2. Liaise with development teams on new application handovers and third-line escalation of issues.
  3. Escalate, manage, and communicate major production incidents effectively.
  4. Conduct thorough technical analysis of the production platform to identify and remediate performance and resiliency issues.
  5. Develop a service improvement approach to resolve IT failings, drive efficiencies, and eliminate repetition to streamline support activities, reduce risk, and improve system availability.
Requirements:
  • Good experience in production application support and ITIL practices.
  • Hands-on knowledge of databases (Oracle/MSSQL etc.) and UNIX/Linux/Solaris operating systems.
  • Experience in application performance monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, Grafana & New Relic) and scheduling tools (Control-M).
  • Excellent teamwork and people management skills are advantageous.
