**Job Summary**

  • We are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our team in a key role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design, implement and troubleshoot complex technical solutions for new implementations and conversions.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of FIS products and underlying architectures to support implementation and drive solutions.
  • Conduct complex system review exercises to get a holistic view of all key systems that come into play when designing solutions.
  • Create high-level architecture diagrams on how applications and systems interact to support business processes.
  • Design solution alternatives for gaps and work with Solutions management to identify capabilities in the roadmap.
  • Mitigate technical challenges related to implementation like licenses and interface requirements.
  • Assist sales, presales teams to review upcoming requirements from new and existing clients and tailor solutions.
  • Oversee configuration activities and ensure consultants are providing high-quality deliverables.
  • Mentor, guide, advise, and/or check the work of less experienced consultants.

**Requirements:**

  • Typically requires a minimum of five years' experience in implementation and/or conversion with a demonstrated ability to handle high project complexity.
  • Comfortable working in unstructured situations where creativity is needed.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Good working knowledge of FIS systems as well as the industries in which FIS competes for business.
  • Ability to understand and apply concepts, analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools.
  • Requires human relations, negotiation, and documentation skills, team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.

**Technical Skills:**

  • Proficiency in at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of networking paradigms, programming skills, scripting languages, database management, and data mart understanding.
  • Familiarity with IBM DB2, Lansa, Visual Lansa, Bash, PowerShell, CI/CD practices.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Banking industry experience, especially in lending.
