We are seeking a skilled Cloud Operations professional to lead our cloud infrastructure efforts.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs across multiple platforms.
- Develop and maintain scripts for cost reporting, resource clean-up, and efficiency improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to right-size resources and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Identify and implement reserved instances, auto-scaling policies, and storage lifecycle policies to reduce spend.
- Leverage native tools like cost analyzers, monitoring platforms, and cloud-based services.
- Contribute to SRE/DevOps practices by ensuring infrastructure reliability while balancing costs.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, GKE, BigQuery, etc.)
- Experience in cloud cost monitoring & optimization
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.)
- Understanding of SRE concepts: reliability, scalability, monitoring, and automation
- Prior experience in cost analysis and optimization for enterprise workloads
- Is driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about cloud efficiency & optimization
- Has excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
