Supply Chain Planner Position Overview

This role involves optimizing inventory levels, ensuring timely supply of finished goods, and maximizing operational efficiency to meet customer demands.

The ideal candidate will have experience in demand and supply planning or capacity management, proficiency in WMS/ERP/SAP-MM systems, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Create accurate demand plans based on forecasts from online and offline sales channels.
  • Lead production planning for existing and new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Ensure timely launches of new products and optimize the network to achieve this goal.
  • Maintain high service levels, fill rates, and out-of-stock avoidance metrics.

Key responsibilities include:

Demand Planning: Create accurate demand plans based on forecasts from online and offline sales channels.

Production Planning: Lead production planning for existing and new products, and product phase-outs.

Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to ensure timely supply of finished goods.

Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data to inform demand planning decisions.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive forecast accuracy and ensure successful product launches.

Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.

Master's Degree: A master's degree in a related field is highly valued, particularly in engineering or business administration.

Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as APICS or CSCP, are an asset.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Data Analysis: Strong data analysis skills, including Excel and data visualization tools.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
