Overview NSCglobal is looking for Logistics Pricing ManagerLogistics Pricing ManagerFulltime PermanentNavi Mumbai IndiaJob SummaryThe Logistics Pricing Manager is responsible for developing implementing and managing pricing strategies for the company s logistics services This role requires a deep understanding of the logistics industry market dynamics and financial analysis to ensure that pricing strategies align with business objectives and maximize profitability Responsibilities Pricing Strategy Development Conduct market research and analysis to identify pricing trends competitor strategies and customer needs Develop and implement pricing strategies that optimize revenue profitability and market share Create and maintain pricing models including cost-plus value-based and competitive-based pricing Rate Card Management Develop and manage rate cards for various logistics services including ocean freight air freight ground transportation and warehousing Ensure rate cards are accurate up-to-date and aligned with pricing strategies Cost Analysis Conduct cost analysis to determine the true cost of providing logistics services Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce expenses Profitability Analysis Monitor the profitability of logistics services and identify areas for improvement Analyze pricing performance and make recommendations for adjustments as needed Contract Negotiation Negotiate pricing terms with customers and suppliers to ensure favorable agreements Manage contract renewals and renegotiations Team Management Lead and manage a team of pricing analysts or coordinators Provide training and development opportunities to team members Data Analysis Utilize data analytics tools to analyze pricing data and identify trends Prepare reports and presentations on pricing performance Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics pricing or a related field Strong understanding of the logistics industry including transportation modes customs regulations and trade agreements Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines Experience in leading and managing teams is preferred Additional Skills Knowledge of pricing software and tools Experience in transportation management systems TMS Familiarity with international trade regulations
