Job Title: Data Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven individual to join our team in Southeast Asia.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and gathering automotive OES parts data from reliable sources, conducting analysis to ensure data accuracy and relevance, extracting and interpreting automotive parts information from electronic catalogues, and identifying and correcting data discrepancies.
  • The role also involves generating analytical reports to support decision-making and providing actionable insights, collaborating with internal departments to uphold data quality standards, and assisting team leads in ensuring timely project delivery with technical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research and gather domestic and foreign automotive OES parts data from reliable sources in Southeast Asia.
  2. Conduct in-depth analysis on various vehicle models to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
  3. Extract, interpret, and input automotive parts information from electronic catalogues into internal systems.
  4. Identify, correct, and document data discrepancies following standard workflows.
  5. Generate analytical reports to support decision-making and provide actionable insights.
  6. Collaborate with internal departments to uphold and improve data quality standards.
  7. Assist team leads in ensuring timely delivery of projects with technical accuracy.
Qualifications & Requirements

In order to succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, or any relevant technical field.
  • Fresh graduates with a strong interest in data and the automotive industry are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in data research, data entry, or the automotive industry is advantageous.
  • Individuals with a background as service advisors from automotive service centers are welcome, especially those familiar with parts identification, repair processes, and vehicle models.
  • Strong interest in data-related roles within the automotive sector.
  • A genuine automotive enthusiast with curiosity to learn about vehicle systems and components.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and managing large data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Independent, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  • A strong problem-solver and proactive team player.
