What we are looking for:

  • Experience with managing large-scale infrastructure systems
  • Experience as a reliability engineer is advantageous
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language
  • Good understanding of software delivery principles
  • Technical agility: Ability to adapt to different roles and technologies when needed

Required Technical Skills:

  • Linux and software-defined networking
  • Configuration management using tools like Ansible and Chef
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts
  • Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
  • Cloud-Native ecosystem and tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Envoy
  • Containers & container orchestrators like Nomad, Kubernetes
  • Managing and organizing infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK
  • Familiarity with primary cloud providers like GCP, AWS, or Microsoft Azure
  • Observability and collaborating with dev teams to improve their observability systems
  • Distributed systems and SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Basic cloud security
