As part of our global team, you will work on high-impact projects, collaborating with business and architecture partners to develop and deliver industry-leading technology solutions that drive our strategic objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

You will bring a high level of technical expertise and share your knowledge with colleagues. You will contribute to all aspects of development and operations, helping form the core of our engineering practice.

You will be part of a daily production release team and may perform on-call support functions when needed. With a DevOps mindset, you will be responsible for full software development, release pipelines, production monitoring, security, and support.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Perform engineering tasks using existing procedures and best practices
  • Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions
  • Provide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations
  • Actively monitor key metrics and report on trends
  • Participate in our Engineering Community of Practice
  • Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems
  • Contribute to project engineering design and standards verification
  • Perform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectations

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred; substantial relevant industry experience is also eligible
  • Eight to 10+ years of engineering experience
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with programming languages such as Java and Python
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with application development frameworks like Spring Boot
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with Cloud technologies and services such as AWS Lambda and AWS S3
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with data integration technologies such as Kafka
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with API based system design
  • Experience working with relational and no-sql databases such as Postgres and MongoDB
  • Experience working with containers and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD principals and tools like Gitlab, Splunk, and Datadog
  • Good knowledge and working experience in Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Familiar with infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow
