Software Engineer Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hybrid mode from Thane.

This senior software engineer role involves designing, implementing, and delivering solutions for clients' products. The successful candidate will work closely with technical architects, product designers, quality assurance teams, and other software engineers to build innovative features for client programs.

  • Design, implement, and unit test new features according to defined requirements within agreed timeframes;
  • Ensure that developed code adheres to performance requirements of a SaaS product;
  • Build front-end software using React/Javascript according to visual designs provided by UX teams;
  • Maintain existing client applications, resolving customer issues quickly;
  • Write unit tests to ensure high-quality Ruby on Rails code within client infrastructure;
  • Collaborate with product design teams, QA, and stakeholders to understand user needs and deliver best customer solutions;
  • Estimate, plan, and manage tasks as a developer in an Agile team;
  • Document processes and software changes when necessary;
  • Protect confidential data and adhere to information security protocols.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines;
  • 3-9 years of professional software development experience;
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript with React capability desirable, SQL, databases, CI/CD technologies (Gitlab advantage), SaaS application architecture, and Azure knowledge desirable;
  • Knowledge of software engineering and best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
