Senior Software Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting complex software programs.

Your primary focus will be on working with product/design during the design phase, authoring technical approaches, and breaking down work into manageable tasks. You will also be expected to contribute to high-impact projects across our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Complex Software Programs: Utilize your expertise in multiple programming languages, including Java, Node.js, C++, and Python, to create efficient and effective software solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product/Design Team: Work closely with product/design team members to understand project requirements and develop innovative solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify and resolve complex software issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technical Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of full-stack software development experience.
  • Languages and Frameworks: Expertise in multiple languages, including Java, Node.js, C++, and Python, as well as microservices frameworks like Spring and Micronaut.
  • Additional Skills: Experience building interfaces, front-end scripting, web markup, container-based deployment, distributed source control, build tools, continuous deployment tools, and log analysis tools.

Functional Qualifications

  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Oracle.
  • Distributed Applications: Experience developing distributed, fault-tolerant applications.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, including cross-team collaboration.
