Key Responsibilities

This role involves overseeing the efficient operation and alignment of technology teams. Key responsibilities include implementing infrastructure, performing regular maintenance, upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.

  • Implementing hardware, servers, and virtual machines to meet business needs.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as patching and updating software, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Providing technical support and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Driving automation initiatives and suggesting process improvements for increased operational efficiency.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with teams to validate system operability, monitoring system health and performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and security policies.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field of study.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Intermediate level of knowledge/responsibility Redhat/Centos.
  • Expert level knowledge of UNIX/Linux (L3).
  • Expert level knowledge on automation/configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Python.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Linux servers in virtualized environments, performance troubleshooting and capacity planning, and troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and tuning of Linux/Unix OS.
