Backend Developer Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain back-end systems that support our maritime operations platform.

  • Design and implement robust back-end systems using your expertise in programming languages such as Python.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure seamless integration with front-end applications and APIs.
  • Develop reusable code libraries to promote consistency and efficiency across projects.
Required Skills
  • Strong foundation in Python programming, including debugging and performance analysis.
  • Experience in web application development and API design (REST, XML).
  • Considerable expertise in secure software development practices and handling sensitive data.
  • Well-established experience in all phases of development – requirement gathering, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with Git source code repository management.
  • Knowledge of DB design & Architecture, caching techniques, and utilities like Memcache / Redis.
  • Experience working on Apache, Nginx, or other web/app servers.
  • Containerization tool experience - Docker.
  • Enterprise-level deployment and scaling experience.
