As a seasoned Backend Developer, you will be responsible for crafting scalable web applications utilizing industry-leading practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate as an integral member of an agile team to drive user story analysis and elaboration, design, and develop responsive web applications.
  • Engage in hands-on software development, spending most time writing code, unit tests, conducting proof of concepts, code reviews, and testing within ongoing sprints.
  • Continuously refactor code and deliver ongoing improvements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within supported domains.

You will work closely with product managers, backend and frontend engineers to implement versatile solutions to complex web development challenges. You will also work with Product Owners to define requirements for new features and plan increments of work.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent 34 years of relevant work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience working in Java, with good knowledge demonstrated.
  • Able to demonstrate good web fundamentals and HTTP protocol knowledge.
  • Good attitude, communication, willingness to learn, and collaborate.
  • 5 yrs development experience in developing Java applications in an enterprise setting. Experience working with Java 11 and above is a plus.
  • 5 yrs experience developing java applications in frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Dropwizard is a plus.
  • 23 yrs recent experience working in JavaScript on Node stack is a plus.
  • 3 years Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing including frameworks such as Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery environment.
  • 3 to 4 yrs working in an Agile or SAFe development environment.
  • Solid Understanding of distributed systems.
  • Proven experience building scalable web application using Java.
  • Mandatory Skills : Git, API Gateway, Microservices, Postman, SpringBoot, JUNIT, Maven, Selenium Testing Automation, Swagger, Java Microservices.
