Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and developing new features and capabilities for our microservices backend.

 

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, leveraging data modelling solutions for scalability and performance, as well as experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS. Expertise in microservices architecture, including REST APIs and message queues, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and develop our platform's infrastructure.
  • Maintain and improve existing tools and workflows.
  • Ensure quality software delivery through automated testing, E2E testing, and performance testing.
  • Explore and recommend innovative approaches to improve our platform's performance and scalability.

 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering from a leading university.
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Software/Backend Engineer in Python.
  • Strong understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, leveraging data modelling solution for scalability and performance.
  • Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture, including REST APIs and message queues.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English communication.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in CI/CD environments (e.g., GHA, Jenkins).
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code development (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
