Artist in Residence
We are seeking a talented Artist in Residence to design and implement an art curriculum that fosters creativity and experimentation in our early-years setting.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing artistic programs that promote exploration, self-expression, and experimentation through diverse media. They will collaborate closely with educators to integrate artistic expression into ongoing projects and inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement artistic programs that encourage creativity and experimentation.
- Collaborate with educators to integrate artistic expression into ongoing projects and inquiries.
- Document children's creative processes and outcomes to make learning visible.
- Plan and support educational events, ensuring art is meaningfully woven into celebrations and community experiences.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in planning and conducting art experiences with children.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Education, or a related field.
