Key Responsibilities- Administer and manage Solaris and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Provide 24/7 on-site support to ensure minimal downtime and maximum system availability.
- Develop and implement standard methodologies for server administration, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with OVM Migration projects to ensure seamless transitions and optimal performance.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in online forums.
- Minimum 7+ years' experience in Solaris and Linux server administration.
- Expertise in UNIX Environment - Solaris and Linux.
- Working knowledge of OS clustering, partitioning, virtualization, and storage administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in UNIX - Solaris and Linux.
- Working patching experience on Exadata, PCA, etc.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage own workload, and meet deadlines.
- Ambitious individual with excellent interpersonal skills, able to contribute to team effort.
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with Engineered systems like Exadata, Exalogic, PCA, etc.
