The role of Chief Financial Officer is a strategic position that oversees all aspects of an organization's financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of financial analysis methods and techniques, as well as expertise in IFRS, internal control principles, and closing/reporting processes.

  • Produce accurate and timely accounting and financial information to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory accounts, local requirements, and international standards by maintaining effective systems and controls.
  • Monitor and manage accounting and financial activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and monthly close to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and improve financial policies, procedures, and systems to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on fraud and/or compliance issues, providing regular updates and insights.
  • Deliver business analysis and define meaningful financial and operational metrics for informed decision-making.
  • Prepare consolidated management reports for senior leadership, including full financial statements and key performance indicator reporting.
  • Maintain awareness of financial performance versus plan and address potential risks proactively to mitigate negative impacts.

Budgeting and Finance Team Development:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and monitor the organization's budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team that delivers reliable financial statements and supports business growth.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the finance team to enhance their skills and knowledge in finance, accounting regulations, and company policies.

Leadership and Communication:

  • Serve as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, providing strategic guidance and support on financial matters.
  • Facilitate open communication with stakeholders, including partners, on project progress and financial performance.
  • Promote the organization's reputation through effective communication with local authorities, financial institutions, legal auditors, and group internal departments.
