We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with exceptional technical leadership skills. This role combines applied research, business impact, and hands-on expertise in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and large language models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We seek a highly skilled individual to design, build, and scale AI-powered solutions for retail media and ad-tech.
  • This includes translating complex business problems into advanced statistical and ML frameworks.
  • The ideal candidate will develop scalable ML and DL solutions with a strong emphasis on LLMs and Generative AI.
  • This involves building and optimizing training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment pipelines for LLMs.
  • Our team member must apply Responsible AI principles to ensure fairness, explainability, and bias mitigation.
  • A strong understanding of cloud platforms is necessary to build scalable data pipelines and end-to-end ML systems.
  • This position requires the ability to provide technical leadership to data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
  • Mentor junior talent, establish best practices, and influence the data science roadmap.
  • This person will partner with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into customer-facing platforms.
  • Project execution, continuous improvement, and strategy alignment are crucial aspects of this role.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • A Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields is required.
  • 8–12 years of applied data science/ML experience with strong domain exposure to e-commerce, advertising, or retail.
  • Hands-on expertise in LLMs, Generative AI, and NLP is essential.
  • Leadership experience guiding projects and teams is also required.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and cloud ML platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is necessary.
  • MLOps frameworks experience (MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, SageMaker) is beneficial.
  • Solid statistical foundation (hypothesis testing, regression, causal inference, time-series) is expected.
  • Data engineering skills for ETL and large-scale dataset processing are essential.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with ad-tech, ad-serving systems, or retail media platforms is advantageous.
  • Research contributions (papers, patents, open-source projects) are valuable.
  • Familiarity with multimodal AI and personalization systems can be beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with LangChain, Hugging Face, RAG, LoRA, and fine-tuning of LLMs can enhance your skills.
