About the Position

As a Data Analyst intern, you will work on cutting-edge projects involving financial data analysis and investment research.

The project experience is designed to provide practical exposure to data analysis in the context of asset management and trading.

You will have the opportunity to engage in multiple mini-projects or take up a focused innovation-based research project.

Responsibilities include conducting data cleaning, wrangling, and pre-processing for financial datasets, assisting investment teams in equity research and portfolio management, and applying statistical techniques to financial problems such as credit risk modelling and value-at-risk estimation.

You will also work with big data sources including financial reports and macroeconomic datasets, and use Python or R to analyse and model financial data.

Additionally, you will participate in research projects related to quantitative trading and portfolio optimization.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
