Job Title: Opcenter Core and Electronics Expert\

The key role of an Opcenter Core and Electronics MES Expert is to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Opcenter application. This individual will work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the application.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Plan, design, configure, implement, develop, and maintain the Siemens Opcenter Core and Electronics (Camstar MES) application to meet business objectives.
  • Analyze, design, configure, develop, and test requested functionality in the development environment.
  • Install and configure Opcenter Core and Electronics high availability.
  • Support operations teams in testing and accepting new changes in the Opcenter test environment.
  • Collaborate with the DBA team to migrate newly developed functionality to the production environment with minimal business disruption.
  • Monitor the Opcenter Core and Electronics application for normal operation in the production line.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for key applications.
  • Follow industry leading best practices for Software Development Life Cycle and company policies and procedures for Opcenter Core and Electronics.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams, including Opcenter Core and Electronics experts, for MES projects and support activities.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior or new team members and users as required.
  • Contribute to analytics efforts.
