AI Engineering Role Overview

This role is focused on designing, developing, and deploying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions to address complex business challenges.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into products and services, ensuring scalability, performance, and accuracy. This involves working closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI/ML models for real-world applications using cutting-edge technologies and frameworks.
  • Preprocess and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights and inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to develop and deploy AI-powered solutions.
  • Optimize model performance, scalability, and maintainability to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Research and implement novel AI algorithms and techniques to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Maintain clear documentation for AI workflows, model training, and deployment processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Monitor and fine-tune deployed models to ensure accuracy and relevance in dynamic business environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and popular libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with NLP, computer vision, or predictive analytics projects, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for AI/ML deployment and management.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles to design and develop robust AI solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools to communicate complex insights effectively to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) or generative AI, including training and deployment.
  • Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices, such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to big data tools like Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks for handling and processing large datasets.
