Job Title: AI/ML Engineer - Core Algorithm and Model Expert

We are seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer to join our team, specializing in designing, developing, and optimizing advanced AI/ML models for various applications.

This role is responsible for leading the development of end-to-end AI products, ensuring seamless integration with other teams, and mentoring technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Train Models: Design and train AI/ML models using Naval-specific data, delivering them as production-ready products.
  • Fine-tune LLMs: Fine-tune open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) for Navy-specific tasks.
  • Data Preprocessing: Preprocess, label, and augment datasets for model training.
  • Model Optimization: Implement quantization, pruning, and compression techniques for deployment-ready AI applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python: Expert-level proficiency in Python programming language.
  • ML Frameworks: Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, OpenCV, NLTK, spaCy.
  • Distributed Training: Knowledge of distributed training using Horovod, DeepSpeed, FairScale, PyTorch Lightning.
