The Opportunity

We are looking for a Technical Proposal Writer to join our team. This position is 100% Remote and can be based anywhere in India.

What you'll do

• Respond to complex RFP relating to government organizations by gathering information from existing RFPs, documentation and technical experts within the company, writing a draft response, obtaining approvals and finally submitting the proposal and supporting documents to the requester.

• The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and understanding of business process management/enterprise software and security considerations, two or more years of experience responding to technical RFPs from large firms and government organizations, coupled with strong writing skills.

• Strong time and project management skills to ensure that proposals are submitted accurately and on time.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Determine proposal requirements by identifying and clarifying objectives within the RFPs.

• Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information, and coordinating with key providers and other internal contributors for additional information if needed.

• Produce quality responses to RFPs by following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.

• Obtain approvals and submit completed proposals to the requester.

• Establish priorities and target dates to ensure that the proposals are submitted on time.

• Maintain records of all proposals submitted and received.
