Job Tittle Technical Writer Department Marketing Reports to Head of Marketing Educational Qualification Bachelor s degree in Engineering Technical Communication English Marketing or related field Master s preferred - Engineering Technical Communication English Marketing or related field Years of Experience 3 years of experience in technical writing preferably in aerospace unmanned systems or related technology industries Strong portfolio demonstrating technical writing for both technical and non-technical audiences Strong portfolio demonstrating technical writing for both technical and non-technical audiences Proficiency in MS Office Adobe Creative Suite and documentation tools Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively Position Summary The Technical Writer - Marketing Department will be responsible for translating complex engineering and product details into clear engaging and audience-focused marketing content This role serves as the link between technical experts and end-users ensuring all product information is accurate compelling and aligned with brand messaging The writer will work closely with engineering product management and marketing teams to develop brochures datasheets case studies white papers blogs and other marketing collateral to support product launches campaigns and customer engagement Roles Responsibilities Collaborate with engineers product managers and sales marketing staff to gather technical information and transform it into high-quality marketing content Write and edit technical content for brochures white papers product datasheets case studies web pages blog posts and presentations Translate engineering specifications into relevant content to be included in Market Requirement Documents Develop clear and compelling value propositions for new product features or updates Maintain consistent messaging voice and tone across all content Assist in the creation of visual content such as infographics diagrams and technical illustrations Support the development of sales enablement tools pitch decks and technical FAQs Ensure accuracy compliance and brand alignment in all published materials Stay current on trends in UAV propulsion systems electric mobility and unmanned technologies to inform content strategy Technical Skills Tools Requirement Content Development Tools Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Creative Suite Illustrator InDesign Photoshop Google Workspace Documentation Publishing Tools MadCap Flare FrameMaker or similar technical writing software Visual Content Tools Canva Visme or equivalent for infographics and diagrams Research Tools Online technical research databases industry reports competitor analysis tools Web Digital Basic understanding of CMS platforms e g WordPress and SEO principles Technical Knowledge Understanding of engineering concepts UAV propulsion systems electric mobility and unmanned technologies preferred but can be learned Authority 1 To gather and validate technical information from engineering R D and product management teams 2 Approve technical accuracy of marketing content before publishing 3 Suggest and implement content improvements for brand consistency and market impact 4 Collaborate with graphic designers and marketing leads to shape the visual and written presentation of technical content Requirements Any Engineering graduate with technical writing under marketing domain expereince is preferred Minmium 3 years to 7 years in teh feild of technical writing is expected Excellent written and verbal communication is required along with global interaction experience is added advantage Experience in preparing MRD Marketing collaterals White Papers Business Case Studies Data Sheets is preferred Expecting Candidates from Automotive Engineering Manufacturing Aerospace industry
