Job Overview:

The Compliance Officer position plays a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal guidelines. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Compliance Manager to support filings, documentation, audits, and day-to-day tasks while developing expertise in regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and implement regulatory updates, policies, and procedures to ensure SEBI PMS Regulations are met.
  • Manage compliance documentation, tracking tools, and reporting to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support preparation of regulatory reports and submissions under guidance from the Compliance Manager.
  • Oversee statutory compliance under Companies Act 2013 by monitoring provisions and maintaining registers and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in audit preparation, respond to queries, follow up on observations, and support corrective actions.
  • Implement AML/PMLA & Insider Trading Compliance procedures, assist in training coordination, and compliance awareness initiatives.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess

  • CS qualification (top-performing or high-ranking student); LLB/LLM an added advantage.
  • 0–2 years of experience in compliance roles, preferably in the PMS/AIF/MF domain (freshers encouraged to apply).
  • Strong academic foundation, eager to learn, good understanding of regulatory frameworks, strong drafting, documentation, and organisational skills, high level of ownership, attention to detail, professionalism, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
