Key responsibilities for this part-time position include managing all phases of commercial ICI construction projects from pre-construction to closeout. The ideal candidate will develop project work plans, schedules, and milestones; provide regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Manage all phases of commercial ICI construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Develop project work plans, schedules, and milestones; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contract scope, safety standards, budget controls, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors to monitor on-site progress and address any field issues.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation using construction management software.
  • Handle all project administration, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, site instructions, deficiency reports, and closeout packages.
  • Prepare cost estimates, bid packages, and tender submissions for ICI projects.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Track subcontractor invoices and prepare project billing and progress claims.
  • Maintain strict budget control and identify cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Represent the company at project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors through proactive communication.
  • Address project challenges and conflicts promptly to avoid delays.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.

Requirements
  • Project management experience in a commercial construction setting.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
