Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of developers and drive the technical direction of our fast-scaling product.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, experience with cloud services, and a proven track record of leading/managing a team of developers. They will also be able to architect systems and think holistically about platform design.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor developers, ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.
  • Take responsibility for the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase.
  • Conduct pull request reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold coding standards.
  • Architect new features, considering scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
  • Actively support team members in solving development challenges and unblock them when needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong hands-on experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Proficiency with AWS cloud services and architecture design.
  • A proven track record of leading/managing a team of developers.
  • Strong background in code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring code quality.
  • Ability to architect systems and think holistically about platform design.
