Job Description

The Senior Finance Analyst plays a key role in our organizational transformation, working closely with the finance and business teams to drive business solutions that yield exceptional outcomes globally.

This vital position requires efficient external reporting, robust control environments, and strong advocacy skills to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations across all jurisdictions.

  • Compliance: We need someone who can efficiently deliver external reporting requirements to ensure adherence to regulatory obligations, supported by a robust control environment.
  • Stewardship: The ideal candidate will lay out a solid finance framework, manage the balance sheet, and oversee portfolio execution, advocating for effective financial management.
  • Performance: This role involves facilitating the allocation of capital, developing business plans, and coordinating business performance interventions to ensure consistent delivery between strategic aspirations, operational forecasts, and actual outcomes.
  • Transformation: We seek a skilled professional to drive digital transformation across our finance entity, achieving sector-leading cost-performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounting and reporting of revenue and receivables for gas, condensate, and crude.
  • Interact with operators to gather necessary information in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely booking of revenue and receivable transactions.
  • Monitor receivables and collect them promptly.
  • Coordinate with business teams, customers, and operators to resolve queries and issues.
  • Manage cash call reviews and approvals.
  • Ensure timely payment of cash calls to operators.
  • Remit surplus funds to the group.
  • Prepare financial statements and audit schedules for statutory audits and assist in completing audits within agreed timelines.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of relevant experience post-qualification.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Controlling, and Audit Support.
  • Previous experience working in an E&P (Exploration & Production) business is desirable.
  • Understanding of joint ventures and Joint Operating Agreements is essential.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, Indian GAAP, and Companies Act is required.
