Job Title: FP&A Business Performance Senior Analyst

This is a challenging role for a seasoned professional with expertise in financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business partnering, performance insights, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain proactive relationships with business leaders to ensure a deep understanding of underlying performance.
  • Support the performance management agenda by delivering robust and timely forecasts, MI analysis, and commentary.
  • Supervise and support cost reduction initiatives, ensuring effective tracking and accurate analysis of profitability.

Business Planning:

  • Work with collaborators to produce detailed cost forecasts by activity for the business planning process.
  • Analyze and interpret actuals, highlighting areas where performance targets are not being met.
  • Present results and insights to leadership, supporting ad-hoc and strategic business decisions.

Performance Reporting:

  • Responsible for cost performance reporting activities, providing timely, accurate, and reliable financial and management information.
  • Explain the underlying delivery of actuals vs. forecasts on a monthly/quarterly basis, updating the in-year outlook as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have educational qualifications in finance or engineering fields at degree level or equivalent.
  • Preferred education/certifications include master's degrees or other qualifications in finance fields, such as MBA, CA, ICWA/Cost Accountants.
  • Minimum years of relevant experience: 10 years in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Preferred experience includes working within global, sophisticated, and matrix organizations in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in oil & gas or retail-related businesses.
