Technical Author/Writer for Communication Equipment

This role requires an experienced Technical Author/Writer to support documentation efforts for communication equipment across various client locations.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong domain knowledge in communication systems and demonstrate expertise in technical writing, documentation tools, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop high-quality technical documentation for a wide range of communication equipment including radio sets, tactical communication systems, satellite communication systems, command and control systems, electronic warfare communication, network infrastructure, navigation and positioning systems, and specialized equipment.
  2. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather technical information.
  3. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
  4. Ensure compliance with international documentation norms.

Required Qualifications:

  • First-class degree in Engineering or Science disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in technical writing for science/technology projects in government or private sectors.
  • Certification in Technical Writing from a reputed institute.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong domain knowledge of communication equipment.
  • Understanding of user requirements and operational environments.
  • Proficiency in technical writing tools and software.
  • Ability to write for international clients with clarity and precision.
