Are you a technical expert looking for a challenging role in application security? We are seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant to support our portfolio in India, with a primary base in Mumbai.

This is a pivotal role in driving customer success, enabling product adoption, and contributing to overall revenue growth through technical excellence. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will work closely with Sales to design customer-centric solutions, deliver impactful demos and Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and guide organizations on best practices in application security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Technical Discovery Sessions: Lead demonstrations, PoCs, and workshops for AppScan and AppScan on Cloud to showcase their capabilities.
  • Prepare Technical Responses: Develop responses for RFIs/RFPs and address customer queries regarding our products.
  • Guide Customers: Help customers adopt AppScan within DevSecOps and secure SDLC practices.
  • Partner with Teams: Collaborate with Sales, Services, Product Management, and Support teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Build Reusable Assets: Create reusable technical assets (presentations, demo scripts, FAQs).
  • Enable Partners: Conduct partner enablement workshops and provide technical guidance for channel engagements.
  • Stay Updated: Stay current on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and AppSec best practices.
  • Foster Relationships: Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ Years of Experience: In technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in AppSec or enterprise software.
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Security Knowledge: Proficiency in security testing tools and methodologies (DAST, SAST, SCA, etc.).
  • Programming Skills: Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash).
  • AppScan Experience: Experience with AppScan or competitor tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite.
  • DevOps Familiarity: Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and secure coding practices.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
