Investment Manager Opportunity

About this role:

This is an exceptional chance for a financially savvy individual to assume the position of Investment Manager and contribute to the development of innovative financial tools.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fixed Income Analysis & Valuation, involving the analysis of fixed income securities, calculation of yield to maturity, and assessment of market pricing strategies.

Key tasks involve:

  1. Calculating the present value of securities and determining their suitability for investment.
  2. Comparing different investment options, such as corporate bonds, fixed deposits, and mutual funds.

Additionally, you will work on:

  • Quantitative & AI-based Financial Modelling, including the development of financial models in Excel, Python, or R to assess risk and return metrics.
  • Implementing AI-driven approaches for analyzing credit risk and probability of default.
  • Working on Value at Risk (VaR) simulations and machine learning models for risk assessment.

Debt Market & Credit Research responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing corporate bond spreads, relative valuations, and structured finance instruments.
  • Conducting data cleaning and visualization for sovereign credit research and CDS time series data.
  • Assisting in the structuring and evaluation of project finance and asset-backed securities.

Lastly, you will focus on:

  • Technology & Automation in Finance, including understanding Microsoft Excel AI tools for financial modelling.
  • Developing and testing AI models for credit derivatives and portfolio risk assessment.
  • Working on FinTech tools like Virtual Risk Analyser and Virtual Portfolio Analyser.

Requirements:

  • A student from any academic discipline with a strong foundation in finance.

Duration and Type:

  • Self-paced with option of 1, 2, 3 or 4 months.
  • Unpaid internship.
