The Project Development Manager will play a crucial role in our land acquisition strategy, overseeing land procurement activities for wind projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify suitable land sites for wind energy projects.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and permits required for land acquisition.
- Assess risks associated with land acquisition and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Lead due diligence checks on potential land sites and assess their suitability for wind energy projects.
- Develop project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of land acquisition targets.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in land acquisition for wind and/or solar projects.
- Proven track record of securing lands within targeted timelines.
- Strong understanding of government policies and regulations related to renewable energy projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
