The role of Director – Office of the CIO is pivotal in leading and integrating key IT governance functions. This includes driving strategic portfolio execution, ensuring cohesive oversight of financial, vendor, project, and performance management within Orbia IT.

This position supports the CIO in implementing the IT strategy and operating model, fostering transparency, control, and agility across IT operations. The aim is to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Advisor: Serves as a strategic advisor to the CIO on the IT Strategy, IT Operating Plan, and IT Operating Model.
  • IT Governance: Oversees the governance of the IT project and program portfolio, ensuring value delivery and alignment with IT strategy, business objectives, and regulatory compliance.
  • Financial and Vendor Management: Manages IT financial and vendor processes, including budgeting, forecasting, procurement alignment, and vendor and contract performance.
  • KPI and Performance Reporting: Defines and manages KPI and performance reporting processes, including dashboards, health checks, and investment tracking for IT performance and value delivery.
  • Prioritization and PMO Oversight: Facilitates prioritization processes, supervises the PMO, and enables project execution excellence and agile ways of working.
  • IT Steering Committees: Facilitates IT steering committees and manages prioritization processes, supporting executive and business reviews.
  • Risk and Critical Success Factors: Identifies and manages interdependencies, risks, and critical success factors across programs.
  • IT Policies and Compliance: Owns and maintains IT policies, processes, standards, and quality compliance across the function.
  • Change Enablement and Communication: Supports change enablement activities and manages communication initiatives in partnership with HR and Communications for IT-led programs and transformations.
  • Workforce Planning: Ensures integrated workforce and capacity planning, location strategy, tracking headcount, succession planning, role-based requirements, and talent initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drives continuous improvement initiatives across the Office of the CIO domain, implementing required tools and frameworks for service excellence and continuous improvement.
