Chief Financial Officer

A pivotal leadership role awaits a skilled and experienced financial strategist to shape the company's financial strategy, developing and executing comprehensive plans that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the group's financial strategy aligned with business goals. Advise the CEO and Board on financial planning, capital allocation, and risk management.
  • Accounts & Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Establish and maintain robust financial controls and accounting systems.
  • Fundraising and Investor Relations: Lead in fundraising efforts of the company, being equity and debt fundraising as per the group's targets. Manage existing investors relations, and lead team efforts to get on board new equity and debt investors.
  • Banking & Treasury Management: Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and loan negotiations. Optimize working capital and cash flow management.
  • Audit & Compliance: Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits, ensuring zero non-compliance. Collaborate with internal and external auditors for process improvements.
  • Taxation & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely filing of direct and indirect taxes. Optimize tax strategies to minimize liabilities while remaining compliant.
  • Investments & Capital Management: Evaluate investment opportunities for ROI and strategic alignment. Manage portfolio investments, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing finance and accounts teams. Promote a culture of financial discipline and operational excellence.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience: At least 5 years in a senior financial leadership position.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CPA or CFA.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Skills: Strategic thinking, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
